Difference between smoke fire damper and fire damper
(1) smoke and fire damper:
It is installed on the pipe of smoke exhaust system, which is generally closed at ordinary times. It is opened manually or electrically in case of fire, which plays the role of smoke exhaust. When the flue gas temperature in the exhaust pipe reaches 280 ℃, its electric smoke opening function is usually commanded by the control center or a simple smoke detector. Simply put: the fire control valve is normally open, and the temperature in the air duct is too high to set the closing valve to prevent the fire spreading.
The smoke fire damper is normally closed. When the smoke in the zone exceeds the standard, the control device instructs it to open the smoke exhaust. When the temperature in the smoke exhaust pipe exceeds 280oc, the fire cannot be discharged to other zones, so the valve will automatically "re close" to avoid the fire leading to other zones.
(2) fire damper:
The fire damper is applicable to the ventilation and air conditioning system. In addition to the fire damper used in the kitchen exhaust system of public buildings, the operating temperature is 150 ℃, and the operating temperature of the fire damper used in the general ventilation and air conditioning system is 70 ℃.
The fire damper is applicable to the pipes of ventilation, air conditioning or smoke exhaust system.
When selecting valves, attention shall be paid to the functions of the valves, such as normally open or normally closed, automatic close open, manual close open, manual reset, remote control, etc.
If the valve is linked with the fan, double micro switch device shall be selected.
